Yesterday I went on a trip with my kids and a group of friends to find the Baby Animal Farm near Pyeongchang. The information I had read on the farm promised various types of baby animals that we could hold and feed and let me just tell you that the Baby Animal Farm does not disappoint! The entrance fee is 7,000 Won but includes several types of food to feed to the different types of babies. If you love baby animals then this place is a must! We traveled 2 1/2 hours to get there and the kids and I are already dying to go again. We watched baby ducklings hatching from eggs, held ducklings, chicks, and baby quails. We snuggled baby bunnies, puppies, and piglets! We fed calves, kids, and lambs. Carefully, and with gloves on, we held prickly little hedgehogs. They even have a couple of ostriches, turtles, horses, and more. One word of caution, there is an area that houses three adult horses and a couple of adult dogs. My son was bit by one of the horses on his ear so if you choose to go in there just pay extra attention. For an additional charge you can also take pony rides which I didn’t do, but a couple of my friends did and they said the ponies were very sweet. There is a building on site where you can buy water, soda, and coffee. You can pay to make pizzas or soap as well. The pizzas cost 25,000 Won to make so we just bought drinks and ate our picnic lunch at the tables. Even with the ear bite we had an absolutely amazing day!!

So tiny and pink!
I might have been slightly obsessed with the piglets. 🙂
I may also have wanted to stick one of these little guys in my camera bag!
There was no end to the cuteness!
